In northern G@z@, we are working to bring students back to school and support Ali ibn Abi Talib School so that it can welcome more children in the new academic year.

The school currently serves 800 students, and we aim to expand its capacity to accommodate 1,100 students.

When a child has a school to return to, a family has a reason to return.
And when families return, life returns to northern G@z@.

Back-to-School Projects

Contribute to the project of your choice, or donate whatever you can toward the most urgent need.

🏫 Adding 3 New Classrooms

Current estimated cost: $1,900

Adding three new classrooms will increase the school’s total from 10 to 13 classrooms, allowing more students to enroll and continue their education.

✏️ School Stationery Project

1,100 students – $1,200

Providing notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential school supplies for students.

Some children currently share a single notebook with their siblings, while others split a pencil so that two children can use it.

📚 Textbooks and Educational Materials Project

2,000 copies – $7,000

Providing textbooks and educational learning packs to students and helping them recover part of the learning loss caused by years of disrupted education.

🪑 School Furniture Project

100 pieces – $7,000

Providing desks, chairs, and classroom furniture so students have a suitable place to sit, write, and learn with dignity.

💧 Water Tank Project

1,000-liter tank – $650

Providing water for students and teachers while supporting hygiene and essential daily needs within the school.

⛺ Classroom Protection and School Fencing Project

15 protective tarps – $1,000

Providing protective coverings for tents and classrooms to shield them from weather conditions, while also helping to fence and organize the school grounds.

🖍️ Chalk and Writing Materials Project

50 units – $350

Providing white and colored chalk and other essential writing materials that teachers need for their daily classroom lessons.

📄 Printing and Copy Paper Project

20 reams – $300

Providing paper for printing worksheets, exams, and educational materials needed by students and teachers.

🗃️ School Supplies Storage Project

$250

Providing a storage box or unit to safely store books, stationery, records, and other school and administrative supplies, protecting them from damage or loss.

🎁 Student Incentives and Gifts Project

500 students – $2,000

Providing gifts and incentives that encourage students to attend school regularly and bring back a measure of joy after years of war and displacement.

👨‍🏫 Teachers’ Room Project

$750

Providing desks, chairs, and essential equipment for the teachers’ and administration area, helping staff prepare lessons, follow up with students, and organize the educational process.

👩‍🏫 Teachers’ Salaries Support Project

18 teachers – $3,600 per month

The school needs 18 teachers to ensure that classes can operate consistently and the educational process can continue.

Supporting a teacher means keeping a classroom open.
Keeping a classroom open means keeping hundreds of children in education.
